1996: The Black/White Uptempo 96 were my “back to school” shoes. I wrote my parents a 2 page proposal just to get them. I couldn’t get the ones with all the air bubbles because they cost too much, but I didn’t care about that. Those shoes were the greatest ever and I was in heaven. 16 years later and these shoes still make me want to write a two page proposal.

New Pick Ups: 1997 Nike Air Pure Uptempo. I had these in middle school. Found them deadstock in original box on eBay for $80. Now I’m wondering if I should even wear them…
